A few minutes drive to Cortona and very convenient to the Terontola train station, it offers a comfortable, quiet, and affordable spot from which to tour the hill towns of Tuscany and Umbria.
Turning off the main road between Terontola and Cortona, in the tiny hamlet of Riccio, is a hillside olive grove surrounding an 8th-century Roman building with a watchtower overlooking the Via Romana. One of its outbuildings has been nicely restored as a simple guest cottage suitable for 2-3 people. Available year-round, with a surcharge for central heating when necessary.
COTTAGE FOR RENT
The cottage consists of a small living room and an eat-in fully-equipped kitchen, plus a master bedroom, anteroom with single bed, and full bathroom. A large whitewashed cantina on the lower level is used only for laundry.
A garden courtyard overlooks the Roman Road just below, and affords a lovely view of Lake Trasimeno beyond the olive groves. Walking trails ascend through the property between cypress and almond trees to an ancient hilltop chapel.
The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and full bathroom, and the anteroom has a single bed.

Somewhere in the page above you'll find an "CLICK TO ENQUIRE" button or a straightforward email address on which to click. Enquiries go straight to the owner of the rental or property for sale . . . so if you are enquiring about more than one villa or apartment for sale or rent or generally about accommodation in the region, please send an enquiry individually relating to each property. Except for pages for a minority of clients, your enquiry is not going to a letting agency for all the properties in a region - you are booking direct with the owner . . . and for the reason below, we feel that you can have confidence in doing so.

As webmasters we are not acting as agents but are publishing what our clients have asked us to market for them.
During the course of working for our rental clients, we tend to get to know them quite well . . . and we only work for people who we can get along with, who we enjoy working for and who we can trust. We charge our clients partly on a commission basis . . . so we only work for good clients who provide a good service to their customers and have happy renters . . . such as yourself! For this reason we expect that you should have a good experience buying a property for sale or booking a holiday rental through our clients, and if you don't (very rare), we like to hear about it!
