The warmth of the Portuguese is equally warm, and so it is no surprise that many visitors choose to return, and some go one step further and make it their home.

The apartments have a sun-roof terrace that offers commanding views of the area. These views include the beautiful 4km (2.5 miles) of sandy beach at Meia Praia, and Lagos with its marina. These are all linked by the promenade that is an attraction in its own right.

No one can fail to be drawn to the dramatic scenery, with its beautiful cliffs and rock formations that form the backdrop to many beautiful beaches along the coast.

Our ancient forefathers were drawn to the area by its maritime military potential, but today's visitor will likely devote any thoughts of tactics or strategy to the game of golf that is brilliantly served in this area. Others, will be attracted simply by the fantastic weather of the Western Algarve, the peacefullness of the Lagos area and, the opportunity to find genuine rest and relaxation.

All the apartments have a wonderful outlook over the surrounding area as these panoramic views, taken from the vantage point of Apt 5N, clearly illustrate.

Lagos is the capital of the Western Algarve and has escaped the over-building of other areas. Accommodation for tourists is limited and this has enabled the area to retain its tranquillity. The seafront promenade, which is a joy for pedestrians, adds to the calm. The town also has pedestrian-only areas, and the main shopping areas are a haven for quaint little shops, cafes and restaurants.

Other sporting attractions include fishing, scuba diving, sailing, and windsurfing.

Faro airport to the East is about 80 km (50 miles) and the drive takes just over one hour.
